Fixed panels, commonly referred to as fixed windows or picture windows, are non-operable windows designed primarily for aesthetics and maximizing natural light. They do not open or close, making them an ideal choice for framing views and enhancing the architectural appeal of a space.

Key Features of Fixed Panels

• Design Purpose: Fixed panels are used to create expansive glass features that allow for unobstructed views and abundant daylight, often serving as focal points in modern architecture.
• Energy Efficiency: Because they lack moving parts, fixed windows tend to be more energy-efficient than operable windows. They provide better sealing against air leaks, which can contribute to lower heating and cooling costs.
• Variety of Shapes and Sizes: Fixed panels can be customized in various shapes (rectangular, square, circular) and sizes to fit specific design needs. They can also be combined with operable windows to enhance functionality while maintaining a sleek appearance.

Advantages

• Low Maintenance: With no hinges or tracks, fixed panels are easier to clean and maintain compared to operable window types.
• Aesthetic Appeal: These windows significantly enhance the visual appeal of a home, allowing homeowners to showcase beautiful landscapes or architectural features without obstruction.
• Versatile Applications: Fixed panels are often used in high-ceiling areas, living rooms, or as part of larger window configurations like bay or bow windows. They can also serve as kitchen splashbacks or wall-to-wall glass installations.

In summary, fixed panels offer a stylish solution for homeowners looking to maximize natural light and create stunning visual elements in their spaces while benefiting from energy efficiency and low maintenance requirements.
